Cup-hilt Rapier

The sword has a straight blade of lozenge section, small tang and a flat ricasso. The iron hilt comes in the shape of a cup and the pommel and grip are richly pierced with floral motifs and decorated with cartouches depicting chiselled. The sword features bas-relieved busts and masks, knotted quillon, an upper ring and guard with pierced curls at the ends and a grooved quillon-block.
